We always love playing our hometown. 130 people came out to fill the house at BRH Friday. The audience was engaged, appreciative, and a little sassy. Just like we like it. What a show!

We played some fan favorites.

Allen Kitselman: guitar and vocals for the bitter liberals

And some new songs, including Tammy Lee.

Gary McGraw: violin, mandolin and vocals for the bitter liberals

Worry me no More is one of the new songs that will appear on our second CD. As an experiment, McGraw shot this song with Google Glass as a POV.

Ever wonder what it’s like to be the fiddle player in the Bitter Liberals? Here’s a taste.

We played a couple of sweet track’s from Clark Hansbarger’s Dream of a Good Death, including Vicksburg. While we were recording that CD, we called it “Project Vicksburg.”

Mike Jewell: conga and vocals for the bitter liberals

McGraw’s song sacrificial lambs was inspired, or more like coerced by the Newtown killings. It will be on the new CD as well.
