Betty Shutte-Box very kindly offered her gorgeous back yard overlooking the James river in Richmond for an intimate house concert Saturday evening.
We set things up on the patio facing the lights of Richmond winking over the river. It was a magical evening at the height of Spring.

During the show, we played two sets of ten songs each and an encore.

The elite Richmond debut of the Bitter Liberals. I was glad that I was one of the lucky ones able to attend. I also really like being able to look up the back story for each of the songs. Thank you for doing the homework and writing that down. I have been listening to the CD since the show, it is excellent, I only wish it included ‘Pick one’. Thank you again for coming down here and playing for us.
Mike
hi mike,
We will probably write up “Pick One” after the next CD is produced. Come see us in Purcellville on 5.11. And thank you for coming to the Richmond show!
